Fashion design cum retail
Chello is an online Singaporean local brand focusing on creating women's workwear, targeting elegance and feminine style for formal office daily wear that also prioritizes comfort, design, and quality. Miche-L is an offline local store that has been operating for 10+ years in fashion retail and helps to directly liaise factory and manufacture for other local brands (a few of them such as All Would Envy, Lara J, etc). Both Chello and Miche-L were under the same roof and ownership and my role is to assist both of the brands.

Starting December 2020 to the present, I have been helping Chello as well as Miche-L with store management duties: return points as discount codes (within a 1-week interval of the returns), daily order slips and sticker print (and keeping track of the numbers), order fulfillment through Shopify (sending the tracking number to customer), product packing and quality checking for delivery.

Aside from those, I am also mainly helped Michelle with creating apparel designs such as generating ideas for monthly collections and wholesale (trend research for local trends, colors, details), designing print patterns, taking care of samples from the factory (capture in photos, collage, and color picking), sketching fashion illustrations as well as communicating with wholesale customers alongside Michelle for clothing construction ideas.

Corset collection's concept is based on chic and durable outfits which emphasize the waist area for a more feminine look.
SILKY COLLECTION

Silky collection is inspired by the drapes and shapes of a fabric on a body, which creates a very feminine and flattering outfits that emphasize the entire area of the body.
DUO-TONE FLORAL COLLECTION

Duo-tone collection's concept is highly emphasizing duo color floral prints, each design was placed with unique floral placement and sizes that are cheerful, gorgeous and fun.
Prints i created for this collection
This collection focuses on Duo-tone prints which I have helped edit dissemble and replaced using adobe illustrator & photoshop. Here, Michelle and I agree to use only two color tones: red and cream-blue. In this stage, we were considering using extra large-sized prints so that it will look more modern, however, we decided to wait and see how the prints manufactured the design first.

Designing for Miche-L is different with Chello as they are focused more on casual tops, culottes, sleeved dresses, basic cotton tops, and shorts. And pieces are only available on their physical store.
